OptionsGo Copy Tools — Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the OptionsGo Copy Tools Chrome extension, version 0.1.0, published by OptionsGo.net. It describes this extension's handling of information and does not replace the policies for the OptionsGo website or your broker.

Purpose and information handled

The extension converts displayed Settrade Total Deal Summary and Contract Note trading reports into text for manual copying and import into OptionsGo. On supported HTTPS Settrade report pages it reads trading table content, dates, symbols, quantities, prices, order/contract identifiers, and account/settlement identifiers. It checks the source URL and origin to recognize supported pages and keep temporary records separate. It does not collect a list of your visited pages or track general browsing history.

These fields are processed locally in your browser to validate reports, separate accounts, sort transactions and prepare clipboard text. Account/settlement labels in the extension panels show only their final three characters; underlying identifiers are still used locally for validation and isolation. Clipboard output intentionally includes the trading and order/contract information needed for import.

Temporary storage and retention

When you click the Contract Note Detail collection button, the extension saves that note's transaction rows and account/settlement identity in Chrome's temporary extension session storage. Records are scoped to the source tab and exact origin and filtered by the current account. You can return to the list, choose a series and dates, and copy selected notes.

Records have an absolute two-hour access deadline from the first collection in that tab/origin scope. Expired records cannot be accessed and are removed on the next storage operation; this does not promise physical erasure at an exact clock time. Closing the source tab removes its records. Browser restart and extension disable, reload or update clear extension session storage. The list controls also allow removal of collected notes for a selected account and series.

Financial records are not written to persistent extension storage, Chrome Sync or website storage. Nonsensitive panel-position and selected-series preferences may use the website's tab-scoped sessionStorage, which that website can read. Session storage is memory storage, not an encrypted credential vault.

Clipboard and transmission

The extension writes text to your clipboard only when you click a clipboard Copy control. It does not read clipboard contents. Contract Note Detail's button first collects the note locally; the list's Copy button performs the final clipboard write. Each Total Deal Summary Copy includes all validated rows, so review repeated copies before importing.

The extension does not automatically send trading records to OptionsGo, its publisher, support or another server. You decide where to paste the text. Your operating system, clipboard history or synchronization tools, and the destination app or website may handle copied data under their own settings and policies. Closing the source tab does not erase a clipboard copy or data you already pasted elsewhere.

The extension does not collect broker passwords, authentication cookies, payment-card details, analytics or advertising data. It does not submit broker orders or automatically write an OptionsGo slot. All executable code, fonts and images are packaged locally. Help links open OptionsGo pages only when clicked; those websites have their own data practices. Google operates Chrome Web Store installation and updates separately.

Limited use

OptionsGo Copy Tools uses handled data only to provide its report-to-clipboard features. Its use and transfer of user data comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The extension does not sell user data, use it for advertising, transfer it for unrelated purposes, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. The publisher receives no trading records automatically through this extension.

Your controls

You can choose whether to collect or copy notes, remove collected notes using the list controls, close the source tab, restart the browser, or disable or uninstall the extension through Chrome. You can revoke its site access. Review copied information before sharing or importing it, and clear clipboard history separately if your clipboard tools retain copies. These actions do not delete information held by your broker, destination apps or websites.

Policy page and contact

This policy page has no analytics scripts, forms or advertising. Visiting it makes a normal request to OptionsGo.net; hosting infrastructure may process request metadata independently of the extension.
